How long does it take to be fluent in Spanish?
Generally speaking, the time required to achieve fluency in Spanish varies depending on each individual and their dedication. Our lessons are designed to accelerate the learning process. Do not worry, you are in good hands! We are senior teachers with over 21 years teaching experience.
What's the difference between one-to-one and semi-private lessons?
One-to-one lessons are individual tuitions for just one person. Semi-private lessons are sessions for friends, work colleagues, etc. with the same level who share the same session. In such case, we can arrange lessons from 2 up to 6 people online with a reduced price depending on the number of participants. In both cases, we offer bespoke Spanish lessons according to your level and needs.
What should I expect from my online private or semi-private lessons?
A good structure lesson organized according to your level, need and goals. We recommend you to see check out this video regarding our method.
What's the maximum/minimum group size?
To have group lessons we need a minimun of 4 participants. We don't take more than 8 people in a group.
What are the fees?
We have published a clear price list. You only need to visit our price section.
Is the book included in the price?
No, we will advice you to purchase the appropriate book after your first lesson.
What's the lesson duration?
1 lesson = 55 minutes.
What's the minimum booking duration?
The minimum stay is at least one month.
Is there a minimum number of private or semi-private lessons per week?
Yes, at least 1 lesson per week in a calendar month, thus 4-5 lessons per month.
What's the minimum age to take lessons with you?
To take lessons with us you must be at least 18 years old.
Do you provide attendance or level certificates?
No, we don't, since we are not a language school, only independent teachers working online. If you wish to have an official language certificate, we can certainly organize DELE or SIELE exam lessons.
What's your timetable? Do your organize lessons on weekends?
We work from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 8.00 pm CET with a little break before 4.00 pm CET. Group lessons have a fixed timetable every week.
Is the Spanish language easy?
Spanish can be very challenging since it has plenty of tenses and grammar. To achieve a good level of conversation, it is essential to master the tenses in a reasonable way. It is important to accept the language as it is and have all the time a good attitude/sense of humour. Do not worry, we will support you in all the process of learning!
Do I need any particular level to take up your lessons?
No. We run all the levels, from absolute beginners to advanced students.
Do I need to have any grammar knowledge to learn Spanish?
It is not necessary, however it´s a fact that you will go quicker if you do. It is just a good idea to get familiar with the grammar metalanguage in your mother tongue.
Will the lessons exclusively be taught in Spanish?
This is up to you. Spanish grammar is sometimes complicated and it migh be necessary to use English to explain or clarify some concepts.
When should I expect to achieve a particular level of language?
Our lessons are organized based on the European Framework of Reference for Languages’ levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2). As per this international scale, you should be able to jump from one level to the next after one year or so. This also depends on your educational background and self-study time.
Would you run any kind of assessment before I start with my lessons?
Of course, you must complete our online level test along with a student’s file with your needs, goals and learning style. We will send this form after you book. For DELE and SIELE exam classes, we might tell you to complete an extra assignment.
How can I book?
Please, fill out our booking form and we will be in touch really soon with our availability. We are always really busy! thereby we strongly recommend securing your lessons with a payment as soon as we confirm your spot.
What's your payment method?
You can pay us by bank wire transfer or Revolut (in this case, we can produce a link to pay online) We may accept Paypal's payment, but a 5.00% approx. fee will be charged. If you live in Spain, we also accept Bizum.
When do I need to pay my lessons?
New students must pay for the lessons as soon as they receive our fees. If you are a current student, you always need to pay at least 3 days before the first day of each month. If we don't receive the payment on time, we reserve the right to cancel your lessons.
Can I expect to have the same spot every month?
Yes, you will have the same and fixed schedule, with no rotation. Change of slots are subject to availability and must be requested at least 2 weeks before the new calendar month begins.
What's your cancellation policy?
Lessons cancelled by the student won't be refunded, rescheduled, nor made up. Nevertheless, if we cancel the lessons, we will refund it immediately. Of course, we won't charge you during our annual breaks (these will be announced sufficiently in advanced)
For group lessons, we won't repeat the content you missed.
I won't have lessons during my break / holiday. Can I expect to have the same spot on my return?
I am afraid not. We have always continuous request and the only way to secure your spot is paying for it.

We prefer lessons with Skype since it is more educational friendly, other providers are more for business purposes.
However, for group lessons we may use Zoom. You will be informed in advance.
Do you have admission rules?
Yes, we have! We reserve the right to refuse admission to a student or expel them due resulting from their misconduct, unsatisfactory attendance/work or fail to payment. Please respect the rules you agreed and signed in our Terms and General Conditions at the time of booking and respect the teacher and Spanish culture.
